Facts about Bizarrap, the Most Listened Argentinian in the World
A public figure that has been standing strong for a long time and recently set a record in history: BZRP Music Session #52 ft. Quevedo is in Spotify’s Top 50 Global Songs, turning Bizarrap in the first Argentinian to make it there.
Argentinian music is on Spotify’s top songs! And we have to thank a 23-year-old boy from Ramos Mejía, province of Buenos Aires, for that. Hit after hit, Bizarrap confirms what we’ve been anticipating: he has a brilliant career ahead.
Four nominations for the Latin Grammy Awards, more than 50 sessions on his YouTube channel, millions of views, and sounds perfectly combined to make the entire body vibrate… Gonzalo Julián Conde, known around the world by his stage name, Bizarrap, keeps adding hits to his list, and this is just the beginning. With urban music as his mark, the producer delights worldwide fans with catching rhythmic songs and first-rate collaborations.
The origins of the DJ go back to 2018, when he began to add his beats to freestyle battles of national trap music. Moreover, he has remixed popular songs, adding his signature. The rest was history: the ‘Bizarrap era’ breaks world records and his Music Sessions boom the number of views as soon as he releases a new song. The unbeatable track so far is one with Nathy Peluso, another local icon; launched in 2021, the video has more than 322 million views.
However, the song that took him to Spotify’s podium came out on July 6th, featuring Quevedo, an artist from the Canary Islands (Spain) who is just 20 years old and is already playing in the big leagues. Music Session 52 got a million views just half an hour after being released. And, considering the music platform’s global ranking, it beat Running up That Hill (a Deal with God) by Kate Bush, and As It Was by Harry Styles.
In addition to making history in the Global Top 50, he also broke records as one of the most searched artists on the platform. On the podium in that category, he joins musicians, like Drake, Taylor Swift, Harry Styles, Ed Sheeran, and Justin Bieber.
