Mendoza to Host the Presentation of the MICHELIN Guide Buenos Aires & Mendoza 2025

12 February 2025

The prestigious MICHELIN Guide has announced that on April 7, 2025, it will reveal the new selection of restaurants for Buenos Aires and Mendoza in a special ceremony to be held at the iconic Bodega Susana Balbo in the Province of Mendoza.

This event marks a milestone, as it is the first time that the MICHELIN Guide’s awards ceremony will take place in Mendoza, one of the country’s most renowned regions for its gastronomic and wine excellence. The selection will include restaurants that will receive the coveted MICHELIN Star, the Bib Gourmand recognition, the Green Star, or special awards.

Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of the MICHELIN Guide, stated:

"After our initial launch in Buenos Aires, we are absolutely delighted to reveal our next selection of Argentine restaurants from the Province of Mendoza. Being one of the country’s most gastronomic and epicurean regions, blessed with fertile orchards and iconic vineyards, Mendoza will provide the most spectacular setting to celebrate the culinary talent of Buenos Aires and Mendoza."

Mendoza’s Governor, Alfredo Cornejo, highlighted:

"Our identity, forged in close contact with nature, has shaped our gastronomy, which is recognized worldwide for its quality and authentic flavors. We are proud to welcome the MICHELIN Guide and the best representatives of a sector that generates jobs, wealth, and unforgettable experiences."

Thanks to the support of Visit Argentina (INPROTUR), Argentina is the Destination Partner of this event, solidifying the country’s status as a world-class gastronomic destination and promoting its culinary excellence on the international stage. The event will be broadcast on the official MICHELIN Guide YouTube channel.
