Asunción and Salta More Connected: Paranair’s New Flight Has Already started operating

10 February 2025

In line with Argentina’s open skies policy, Paranair has announced the launch of a new route that will directly connect Asunción (Paraguay) with Salta, starting February 12, 2025, with two weekly flights.

This new air connection strengthens Salta’s position as a strategic hub in northern Argentina, adding to its existing international routes to Lima (Peru) and São Paulo (Brazil). The introduction of this direct flight will facilitate tourism and commercial exchange between the two regions and promote economic and cultural development, thanks to the growing interest of Paraguayan tourists in the high-quality services of northern Argentina’s gastronomy, wine, and natural landscapes.

The flights will be operated with 50-passenger aircraft, departing on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Tickets will be available through Paranair’s official sales channels.

This initiative is the result of joint efforts with the private sector, demonstrating a commitment to strengthening regional connectivity and creating new opportunities for tourism and business.
