Horseback Riding in Lake Posadas

How to get to Lago Posadas?
If you are in El Calafate, leave the city going along Provincial Route 11 until the junction with National Route 40. Once there, head north until you reach the small town of Bajo Caracoles. Then, turn left and take Provincial Route 39 for approximately an hour and a half until you reach your destination. Route 39 is currently covered by gravel, but work is already in process to have it paved.

How to get to Villa La Angostura?
It is 83 kilometers from Bariloche. You must take National Route 237 and then National Route 40. From San Martín de los Andes it is 108 kilometers along National Route 40 to the south.
