Casa Vigil
For Alejandro Vigil, The Divine Comedy is a poetic tribute to his roots. At Casa Vigil, guests journey through Inferno—an underground barrel-filled cellar featuring art by Osvaldo Chiavazza—then along tunnels to Purgatory, led by the Virgin of La Carrodilla (by Sergio Roggerone), and finally up to Paradise, a luminous space of stained glass, aromas, and nature where food and wine come together. Set in Chachingo, Maipú (Mendoza).
In Chachingo, Maipú (Mendoza), Casa Vigil stages a sensory journey inspired by The Divine Comedy: Inferno is an underground barrel cellar featuring works by Osvaldo Chiavazza; the path to Purgatory is marked by the Virgin of La Carrodilla, created by artist Sergio Roggerone; and Paradise opens as a luminous space of stained glass, aromas and nature where wine and art meet with Mendocine hospitality. The set design flows through tunnels and themed rooms to experience Dante’s narrative through a contemporary lens.
The culinary program is integrated with the winery and restaurant on site, where Bodega Aleanna crafts El Enemigo and Gran Enemigo and offers tours and tastings. Its product-driven, terroir-minded cuisine pairs with Vigil’s wines and has earned MICHELIN Guide recognition with One Star and a Green Star in Mendoza.

Art & gallery feel
The Inferno–Purgatory–Paradise route functions as a non-traditional gallery: an underground cellar lined with barrels and works by Osvaldo Chiavazza, the passage to Purgatory signposted by the Virgin of La Carrodilla (Sergio Roggerone), and a luminous upstairs space of stained glass, nature and aromas—where wine, art and literature meet.
