Bodega Salentein

Mendoza

An icon of Valle de Uco where art, architecture, wine, and nature coexist in perfect harmony.

Located in the heart of Valle de Uco, Bodega Salentein is one of the most impressive and forward-thinking expressions of Argentine wine. Founded in the late 1990s by Dutch entrepreneur Mijndert Pon, the winery was not only a pioneer in establishing itself in the region, but also transformed the landscape with a comprehensive proposal that combines high-end winemaking, contemporary art, boutique hospitality, and local cuisine.

The main building, cross-shaped and inspired by Andean design, blends with the Mendoza geography and has earned international acclaim for its architecture and gravity-fed winemaking system. Surrounded by vineyards over 1,200 meters above sea level, the winery crafts premium wines that reflect the identity of the Andean terroir, merging European tradition and Argentine spirit.

Next to the winery is the cultural and wine tourism center Killka, where visitors can explore an art gallery featuring works by major Argentine and European artists, the Chapel of Gratitude, gardens, and a restaurant offering contemporary regional cuisine with seasonal ingredients. Posada Salentein, a vineyard lodge nestled in the mountains, completes the experience by inviting guests to relax, reflect, and enjoy wine at its origin.

Today, Salentein is one of the most visited wineries in Argentina and an international benchmark for wine tourism, offering a comprehensive experience where every detail celebrates wine, culture, and landscape.
