Geographic location: the valley of Tatón is located 30 kilometers north of Fiambalá, in the region of Tinogasta, Catamarca.
How to get there: by land, via Ruta Provincial 135, which can be accessed in Medanitos and after 30 kilometers ends in Tatón.

Climate: Andean dry puna climate
Recommended length of stay: 1 to 2 days.
Recommended clothing: warm clothes for sunrise and sunset. A hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and footwear suitable for the activities to be done.

Tips: visits can be made all year round but it is advisable not to go between December and February due to the high temperatures all day long.
