Did you know that Tafí Viejo is one of the cities with the oldest historical traces in Argentina? At the Atahualpa Yupanqui municipal inn, you’ll find an archeological interpretation center with remains from the original cultures. At the Railroad Museum, antique artifacts are waiting for you, such as desks, typewriters, a ticket machine, and a siren that rang in the city every day for 70 years. Walk around. Explore. How to get there: via Ruta Provincial 314 (it is 12 km away from San Miguel de Tucumán, the provincial capital).

Tips: Visit the “THAAUI” archeological interpretation center, with free admission, where you will learn about part of the history of this city and its native cultures.
