How to get there: By plane, to Coronel Felipe Varela International Airport. By land, via Ruta Nacional 60. San Fernando del Valle de Catamarca is 1,131 km away from the City of Buenos Aires. You can also get there by bus, from different places around the country.

Climate: Arid mountain climate. Summers are dry and hot. Winters are warm.
