Quebrada de Los Cóndores Natural Reserve
Discover a unique place, where the giant of the skies spreads its wings barely above your head.
A guided horseback ride takes you up high. As you watch a landscape of rocks, cave paintings and waterfalls, you climb up the hills along zigzagging trails. Then you reach the high plateau and walk to a large protruding rock on a cliff. Here is where you can see condors fly. With their large wings spread out, they fly between three and five meters right above your head. A real breathtaking experience.
Watch the condors from a level above their roost. Discover up to forty species overflying in a circle, flying in a straight line, diving in or hiding in the cracks of rocky walls, where their nests are. Watch their black feathers in the blue sky. Do not miss this one-of-its-kind spectacle of nature in the province of La Rioja, on the edge of the cliff and of excitement.
