How to get there: Reach the city of El Chaltén by land from El Calafate (210 km), where the closest airport is located. The trekking journey to the Capri lagoon starts from El Chaltén.
Altitude: 600 meters above sea level (average height).
Climate: Warm and humid, with no dry season defined. In summer, it rains less and is more windy. The average annual temperature is 7,5°C. In winter there are very low temperatures that can fall to as little as -15ºC.
Recommended length of stay: 1 to 2 days.
Recommended clothing and gear: Warm clothes, in layers. It is advisable to be ready for temperature changes and strong winds.
Tips: Although it is not a complex circuit and can be enjoyed all year round, it is more advisable to take it from the end of October until the beginning of April.
