Discover a world for adventure at El Rodeo. Ziplining and mountaineering, fishing and horseback riding together with local experts. The Cristo Redentor statue on the top of the Huayco mount and the caves that hide under large rocks. Walk around Las Cañadas, get close to El Manchao mount, and look at the horizon from up high. Visit Iglesia Vieja and Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria church. Live it all in the province of Catamarca.

How to get there: El Rodeo is 40 km north of San Fernando del Valle de Catamarca, the provincial capital. You can get there via Ruta Provincial 4.

Altitude: 1,250 meters above sea level (average height).

Climate: As it is in a valley, it has a microclimate. In summer, there is heavy rainfall.

Recommended length of stay: 2 to 4 days.

Recommended clothing and gear: Warm clothes suitable for temperature changes, which take place mostly in the evening.

What to do: Travel around the area and visit its cultural attractions. Enjoy nature and outdoor activities: trekking, mountain climbing, horseback riding and biking.
