How to get there: Via Ruta Nacional 7, 185 km away from the city of Mendoza.

Area: 65,690 hectares.

Altitude: 6,962 meters above sea level (Aconcagua mountain) and 2,800 meters above sea level (Horcones)

Climate: Dry and cold, with significant temperature fluctuation. The climate varies according to the altitude.

Recommended length of stay: 2 to 5 days (more time needed for specific tours)

Recommended clothing and gear: Climbing technical wear. 

Tips: Due to the climate, the season is November through March.
