Geographic location: Province of Chubut, Argentine Patagonia.
How to get there: the field is on route 259, in the Nant & Fall Natural Protected Area. It is 14 kilometers from the center of Trevelin. The visit is part of the Welsh route circuit, a tour which can be booked at travel agencies.
Area: 4 hectares. Altitude: 385 meters above sea level.
Climate: warm and humid. Summers are pleasant and winters are very cold and humid. The sky is partially cloudy all year round. The temperature ranges from -0°C to 23°C and it rarely drops below -6°C or rises over 30°C. The ideal time of the year to see the tulips is October.
Recommended length of stay: 1 to 2 days.
What to do: Visit the tulip plantation in October, open to visitors from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
