Mountain Climbing in Jujuy
Come to the north of Argentina and explore the puna, Yungas, and Quebrada de Humahuaca.
Do you like challenges? Come to Jujuy and cover a circuit that will make you discover a world of valleys, gorges, and colours. Have you ever done Camino del Inca? Explore it from Santa Ana, at more than 3,300 metres above sea level, and go through history-packed paths. Do you want to conquer the high plateau and the Yunga jungles? Embark on a five-day-long adventure from Tilcara and move up to more than 4,200 metres above sea level.
Do you dare go beyond 5,000 metres above sea level? Climb up the volcanos Granada or Tuzgle. If you want to go even higher, choose the mountain Chañi, also known as Nevado de Chañi. Its peak is at more than 5,800 metres above sea level. And if you’d rather cover less difficult paths, explore the Azul mountain to the west of Yala lagoons. Enjoy all this in the province of Jujuy.
