Horseback riding on the Bariloche steppe
Treat yourself to a horseback ride amidst dream-like landscapes of the Argentine Patagonia.
Listen to the sound of the hoofs on the path. Your connection with the horse makes you feel part of nature. As it walks along, it takes you through undulating land, going up and down. Suddenly, accompanied by a tour guide, you wade in a river or cross a creek along a gravel path. Ride along valleys, tour trails between mountains, cross cypress and coihue tree forests, discover hidden waterfalls and come to a cave with ancient paintings.
Your tour starts in Bariloche. Choose a short horseback ride, ideal to enjoy with family and children, or a longer journey of several days to cross the Andes. Along the way, talk to the villagers, watch the native wildlife and taste the local food: Patagonian lamb or asado, mate with tortas fritas and other delicacies. Discover the sensations that this experience in the province of Río Negro offers you.
