El Sosneado

Geographic location: Province of Mendoza, Cuyo region.

How to get there: El Sosneado is located 140 kilometers from the city of San Rafael. From there, take Ruta Provincial 144, then Ruta Nacional 40 and finally Ruta Provincial 101.

Altitude: 1,543 meters above sea level (average). In some hills, altitude can be higher than 5,000 meters above sea level.

Climate: Semi-dry, with scarce rainfall and an average temperature of 21ºC.

Recommended length of stay: 2 to 5 days.

Recommended clothing and gear: Warm clothes, suitable for big temperature changes. Wear sunscreen and a cap.
