A natural trip looking for native birds. In the middle of a completely different landscape, the amazing colors of the Littoral.

Iberá is a large wetlands’ system, located in the center of the province of Corrientes. Access is possible only with special vehicles from Colonia Carlos Pellegrini, at 130 miles from Posadas, capital of the province of Misiones. 

Iberá’s Natural Reserve has a great quantity of mammals, reptiles and amphibians; apart from more than 350 bird species, 90% of which are estimated to be native species. Among others, we can mention: yellow cardinal, scimitar-billed woodcreeper, brown cacholote, munias, tiger-herons, egrets, cocoi herons, wood-rails, storks, shorebirds, waterfowl, Southern screamers, rufous-collared sparrow, rufous-bellied thrush, crowned eagle, etc.

IMPORTANT: For the best watching and given the complexity of the terrain and the eco-system, it is recommended to visit the wetlands with specialized guides.
