Tierra del Fuego National Park

Surrounded by mountains, this park features a glacier typical landscape with deep valleys occupied by rivers, lakes and mountain ranges oriented from northeast to southeast.

The coastal region presents La Pataia Bay and Ensenada, with cliffs and small beaches that constitute the ideal environment for the coastal bird fauna.

Two kind of forests dominate this area: lenga and Magellan's beech, that develop in the most humid areas and on the shores of the Beagle Channel.

The understory is open and with plenty fern and moss.In spring, the Magellan orchid can be found as well as the michay with its yellow flowers.
