Nahuel Huapi National Park
Nahuel Huapi National Park (In Mapuche language "nahuel” means tiger and “huapi”, island) is located in the southwest of the province of Neuquén and the northwest of the province of Río Negro, between the Patagonian plateau and the Andean Range.
It covers and area of more than 7.500 km2 with a great quantity of rivers and lakes, rich in fish species. The most remarkable lakes of the region are: Gutiérrez, Mascardi, Hess, Fonk, Martín and Nahuel Huapi.
Visiting this Natural Reservation you will be able to admire beauty in its purest state, with marvelous landscapes that captivate visitors from the whole world.
