Lihué Calel National Park

This park features the Lihué Calel hills with a maximum altitude of 600 m above sea level, with light slopes oriented towards the North while those facing the south fall abruptly.

It has a surface of 9.901 hectares and it was created in 1.977. This park features the country’s central region species like viscachas, cuis, guanacos, Patagonian rabbits, foxes, ferrets, pumas, red lizards, parrots, tuco-tucos, piches, crested tinamous, grey little falcons and yellow cardinals.

The vegetation of the woodlands is comprised by larrea bushes, with isolated chañar, piquillin, molle or incense woods.
