El Palmar National Park
This park features a characteristic landscape: a collage of palms, pasturelands and little forests interrupted by grasslands and riparian jungle that accompany the water courses.
Located in the province of Entre Ríos, it has a slightly undulated surface, with minor streams that cross it from west to east, flowing into the Uruguay River.
On the banks of this river and the streams, the riparian jungle features dense vegetation, formed by mataojos and myrtaceae like the red guayabo which bark - general characteristic of the specie - is plain and feels cold when touched.
