The historical city center is only a few meters away from the memorial and it is surrounded by the Cathedral, the Palacio Municipal and the Pasaje Juramento. Another place worth visiting is the Pichincha neighborhood, which has become the cultural center of the city, district of handicrafts, antiques and tango chords. With its lakes and its decorative fountains with twirling waters, the De la Independencia Park is also worth visiting.
