Meetings in Cuyo
The land of winesThis region islocated in the west-center portion of the country and comprises the provinces ofLa Rioja, Mendoza, San Juan and San Luis, which share cultural identity and historical tradition.
Cuyo features mountainous terrains with little vegetation and a desert climate. This is the major wine-producing area in South America. Also, there is a growing offer related to the natural beauty of the region as well as culinary and adventure tours.
In the province of Mendoza, where the Andes reach a height of almost 7,000 meters (22,960 ft), Mount Aconcagua erects as the highest peak of America and a major attraction for winter sports and mountaineering enthusiasts from all over the world.
In the provinces of La Rioja and San Juan, the main attractions are the Talampaya National Park and the Valle de la Luna (officially known as Ischigualasto Provincial Park). Both parks are part of a geological basin that rose from the depths of the Earth 70 million years ago, when the Andes started their uplift. What emerged in this region was no less than what was the surface of the Earth during the Triassic period (between 248 and 65 million years ago), along with some fossilized remains of the first dinosaurs that walked this planet.
Sierra de las Quijadas Park, in the province of San Luis, is an invitation to travel along the origins of the Triassic and Jurassic periods. There, the huge footprints of dinosaurs, as well as other remains, are still impressed on the land.
When walking along high mountain paths, you can spot vineyards as well as olive groves and fruit farms emerging here and there. It is a must to visit the wineries for a taste of the best wines in the country. This is a region of outstanding beauty that can be enjoyed not only during the summer but also in winter. Undoubtedly, Cuyo is a unique place to host all kinds of events, from a social meeting in a refined vineyard cellar with local cuisine to the wide variety of outdoor activities that can be practiced, such as rafting, rappel and climbing, all ideal options to develop team work and offer tours with coworkers or family members.
