At the heart of the country

The province of Córdoba is located in center of the national territory and it is one of the country’s major financial centers.

Cities, small towns, historical relics, cave paints and Jesuit estates can be visited in this region, surrounded by a beautiful landscape of valleys, high plains, ravines and Pampa hills.

To the north, visitors can find scattered Jesuit chapels and estates from the 17^th and 18^th Century. There, the Catholic order used to organize labor activities for the natives during Colonial times. The Jesuit missions and ranches in Córdoba were declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2001.

The capital of the province, Córdoba City, is a metropolis and an outstanding cultural and service center located in an area famous for its scenery, its reservoirs and its magnificent tourist infrastructure.

Its historical center features one of the most valuable historical heritage sites in Argentina, which is supplemented by a modern infrastructure, a top class university and an important business hub.

Córdoba has a varied hotel infrastructure, casinos, restaurants and world class shows; in addition, the weather is mild all year round and its location is strategic –a central meeting point for routes and telecommunications.
