Australis Cruises
Featuring 3 or 4 days’ programs, from mid September to mid April, Cruises depart twice a week from the Argentine city Ushuaia -Fire Land- and twice a week from the Chilean city Punta Arenas.
The trip is made through channels, bays, fjords, snow covered mountains, islands and forests, all of them of unpaired beauty. There are land tours headed by the Australis Cruise Expedition Team; with walks through native forests, and visits to the glaciers and the Alberto D’Agostini and Cape Horn National Parks.
The highly qualified tour guides accompany small groups, and give very interesting talks about the region's flora and fauna, glaciers, history, etc. There are also on-board lectures covering each of these subjects.
Services include welcome and farewell drinks, and all inclusive coffee, open bar, breakfast, lunch and dinner services. The bar includes both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
The menu -which may be either a la carte or buffet-, comprises international dishes as well as Patagonian specialties.
