Festivals and Festivities
Throughout the territory and at different times of the year, many regional festivals are celebrated, of national or international relevance, reflecting cultural, religious or the production expressions of the different regions of the country.
Somehow, the touristic calendar is organized according to these popular celebrations because they do not only reflect the tradition and history of each place, but also the living form of the people, the culture, the beliefs and the charm of the landscapes.
Festivals like Pachamama in Amaichá del Valle, in Tucumán; Grape Harvest in Mendoza; Sea Festival in Mar del Plata; Snow Festival in Bariloche, Poncho Festival in Catamarca; Yerba Mate Festival in Apóstoles, in Misiones; Golden Fish Festival in Paso de la Patria, Corrientes; Chaya Festival in La Rioja; Folk Dance and Music Festival in Cosquín and Beer Festival in Villa General Belgrano, both in Córdoba; Students Festival in San Salvador de Jujuy, just to mention a few of them.
These celebrations represent unique chances of knowing our landscapes, our history, our gastronomy and the hospitality of our people.
