Balloon Flights

Hot air balloon flights depart from the suburbs of the city of Buenos Aires. Typical towns like Capilla del Señor are departing points.

Part of the show is the preparation of the balloon; using fans that fill the balloon with cold air which is then heated by propane gas burners. This kind of rides takes about an hour.

As baptism flights are priority, dawn and dusk hours are chosen in order to have a ride without turbulences. The landing, one of the most emotive times of the ride, generally takes place in open fields. In case of windy days, the basket may oscillate and softly fall on one of its sides.

Córdoba, at their tourism destinations like Carlos Paz and Sierras Chicas, also features aerostatic flights in the vacation season.
